  • Baby steps... they will get there eventually, its just going to take a while. Having online, ad supported shows is a first step. If ABC can establish a viable business model with that, then everyone else will follow and start moving forward with more flexible systems.

  • If they are allowed to use the jammers, then they should be required to publicize the fact that they are using them so that it is very obvious for anyone enterting the area. Licenses to use these jammers should never be given out lightly to any business.

  • Lots of speculation is going around that it is simply silly to have a 6 month delay because of Blu-Ray specifications. There are likely a few other factors behind the delay that Sony just doesn't want to admit to right now.

  • That's a pretty aggressive production schedule for that launch date. It might be doable with the delay though if they can get enough consoles stock piled. The launch date difference between the 360 in 2005 and PS3 this year is only 11 days difference though, so hardly the 4 weeks you mentioned.

  • Nice, I'm sure consumers are thrilled about having the console be delayed so they can load more DRM into it. Wait longer, pay us more and you too can have even MORE restriction on how you can use this wonderful device!

  • I imagine that this will be more damage control than anything. They will probably give a better indication of the launch dates since the "spring" launch is such a joke now.

  • And there really hasn't been a recent update to this case. I'm confused as to why it is even making news. Microsoft settled with the company and ended up buying part of them.
